There are 11 types of private baths. You need to book in advance to 0278-75-2321[domestic dial] or +81 278-75-2321[international dial](English available). Please call at 8:00am-10:00pm (UTC+9). If you plan to stay here you can book on ‘booling.com”expedia’ or ‘agoda’.

The way to get here without driving

At first, you need to get Jomokogen station or Minakami station. You can go there directly from Ueno station in Tokyo.

Jomokogen station is on “Joetsu shinkansen Line” so if you come from Tokyo you can take it either at Ueno station or at Tokyo station.
From Jomokogen station, you need to take a bus or train to Minakami Station.

At Minakami station, also you need to take a bus or taxi to get Hotel Sunbird. It takes about 30 minutes.

If you booked the hotel to stay more than 1 night
the staff would drive you for free from Jomokogen station or Minakami station to the hotel.

You can enjoy the amazing hot springs with your friends and family in the private baths. The staffs who can speak English and Chinese always stand by so if you can only speak either of them please ask the staffs. Takaragawa Onsen does NOT allow people who have tattoos actually so if you are in trouble then we always welcome you. Hotel Sunbird is nearby!
